It’s been a while since I blogged . . .

We finished our third week of classes this week. Now we’re starting to look at our projects, which involve students picking themes and thinking about the compositional and technical issues they might encounter. It’s always harder to shoot in the winter because you have less light, and it’s cold outside.
Last Friday I hosted past and present students to a holiday party where last semester’s Visual Perception Class presented their books of 26-30 images based on their projects. We had a book of neon images, another covering the city of Lawrence, and a compilation of images of sounds. We had a great time.
Another thing that’s happened is that my rabbi asked me to do his eulogy… oh sorry, I thought I was Mitch Albom… Nobody’s gonna read this anyway, it’s more a test of my communication director’s ability to upload blogs.
Stay tuned for real good blogging ahead.
And if you believe that one….
