Introduction to Digital SLR Photography starts September 2010

In this class a digital SLR is required. We will learn about exposure and development, aperture and shutter speed, ISO’s, depth of field, advanced camera functions, lens choices, shooting RAW vs. JPEG. Composition will be stressed and at least one hour of each class will be devoted to critique. There will be an opportunity of going on a field trip in lieu of one night class.You’ll learn all of the function of your camera and how to use them !
Requirements: SLR type of camera that can be set to manual operation . The ability to shoot 75-100 digital images per week and present at least 4 (8×10) prints and contact sheets each week, and produce 10 finished images for the last class.
